a simple formula

The number five has always hounded me. Big things always seem to be tied in some way to it. Multiples of five, the number 23, you name it. It's always there. People often immediately ask "So, five is your favorite number, then?" No, not at all. Personally, I don't understand why a fella would need a "favorite number." Five just seems to be more significant than the rest. My paying homage to it is more out of curiousity and respect than it is affinity.

Sure sure, you say "But the second you start focusing on occurrences of a number, the more it SEEMS to pop up"... Maybe so. Maybe so. Regardless, I will likely continue to wage my secret obsession with it for the rest of my life, no matter what you say... So there.
